Explore Historic Ephrata Cloister during Community School Day on Friday, May 1, from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM!

Discover this unique historic community through hands-on stations across the site. Try writing with a quill pen, explore school life in the 1800s, and learn about 18th-century medicine, colonial clothing, and historical lighting. Watch demonstrations of blacksmithing, printing, carpentry, and spinning and weaving, and step inside historic buildings like the Sisters’ House and Meetinghouse.

Enjoy interactive activities like a cemetery search and apple butter tasting, including the Visitor Center exhibit and Museum Store.

This event is open to all ages! Reservations are required. Admission is $8 per student and $9 per adult.
