Ice Cream Social

It’s Time for Ice Cream! Event is rain or shine!

     Can you imagine anything that would taste better right now than a dish of ice cream? Maybe ice cream and a brownie! These hot summer days are just begging for something cold and creamy, and we have it! You’re invited to join us for the Ephrata Cloister Ice Cream Social on Sunday afternoon, August 18, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.  Sponsored by Blue Ridge, this event promises to delight your taste buds, ears, and eyes! Other activities include music by The All Weather Band, visits with KPETS Therapy Dogs, demonstrations by the Lancaster Spinners & Weavers Guild, printing your own ice cream flyer on a reproduction printing press, strolling the historic grounds and touring the original buildings, and engaging with local nonprofits to learn about the charitable history of Ephrata Cloister since 1732.

     Tickets for ice cream and access to the grounds are $10 a person, but for members of the ECA, the cost is only $5 for ice cream. Free for children ages 4 and under.
