Thousands of memorable experiences at the Historic Ephrata Cloister, a National Historic Landmark, are made possible by your support of our education programs and collections through our annual appeal.

Your gift today will allow the Historic Ephrata Cloister to provide unique experiences for each visitor today, tomorrow, and always. Your gift reinforces how much our programs and history mean to you.

With your gift we will continue to carry out our educational mission to:

  • share Ephrata’s unique architecture, hymns, calligraphy, and printing accomplishments with thousands of local, regional, and international visitors through guided tours and exhibitions
  • be a place of opportunity for choral members to make the music of one of America’s earliest communal societies accessible to individuals of all ages
  • return objects to their original home at Ephrata for exhibition and study
  • provide learning experiences while meeting the needs of adolescent development in our Student Historian program
  • provide free admission to families through the Lancaster County Library System’s Museum Pass program and reduced admission for Senior Citizens
  • provide interactive educational programs annually to over 1100 K-12 students
  • offer complimentary admission to active military members and their families
  • provide adult learning opportunities such as weekend workshops and lecture series
