Easter Among the Pennsylvania Germans
Thursday, April 14, 2022 7:00 PM
Did you eat a Fastnacht a few weeks ago? Are you waiting for the Easter Bunny to deliver colored eggs to your home? These are just two Pennsylvania German traditions connected to the celebration of Easter that have become part of the wider culture of the region and the country. To explore more of the colorful Easter traditions of the early German settlers of Pennsylvania, eat something green on Thursday, April 14th, then join Museum Educator Michael Showalter at 7:00 p.m. that evening.
The program offered is free, but advance registration is required. To register click HERE. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
