Upper Floor Tours

Date(s): 06/15/2024
Time: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Join the Historic Ephrata Cloister for our popular “behind-the-scenes” upstairs tours of the 1743 Saron Dormitory building (Sisters’ House). Visitors will have a rare opportunity to discover the un-restored upper floors which maintain much of the structure’s original 18th century design and materials.  Tours will run every hour starting at 10:00 a.m. with the last tour departing at 2:00 p.m. Tours will be on a first come first served basis and are suitable for visitors ages 12 years and older. Cost is $15.00/person. Please note that group sizes will be limited and access to the second floor requires use of a narrow and steep staircase. All participants will be required to sign a waiver prior to the start of the tour.

For more information, contact Dan Roe, Museum Educator 2 at daroe@pa.gov or at 717-733-6600.
