Experience Historic Ephrata Cloister by Candlelight!
Step back in time and explore the historic buildings of this early American religious community, illuminated by candlelight. As you tour the grounds, local craftspeople will be on hand to share their stories and display their wares—an excellent opportunity to find one-of-a-kind, beautifully crafted Christmas gifts at our Museum Store. Please note that more details on artisans and demonstrators will be announced soon.
The Ephrata Cloister Chorus, accompanied by guest musicians, will perform in the 1741 Saal at 5:30pm, 6:30pm, and 7:30pm. Seating is limited and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Throughout the evening, costumed guides and historic demonstrators will welcome you into all the historic buildings, immersing you in the 18th-century atmosphere. After your tour, enjoy light refreshments and explore the exhibit in the Visitor Center.
Tickets will be available online in November (exact date and time to be announced). Please check back later for ticket pricing and the link to purchase.
