Date(s): 06/23/2020 - 06/25/2020
Time: 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM
For students entering grades 4, 5, and 6
Imagine writing with a quill pen or working on an old printing press, rolling hoops, spinning wool, visiting a Colonial doctor, or enjoying a Victorian Tea.
These are just some of the hands–on activities that could bring the region’s past to life at two of our most important historic sites: The Historical Society of the Cocalico Valley and the Historic Ephrata Cloister. The area’s rich Pennsylvania German heritage, stretching from colonial times to the early 20th century becomes the source for adventures that help young people discover local history.
Cost is $25.00 per student for all 3 days of activities. Checks can be made payable to Ephrata Cloister Associates.
To register or for more information, call the Historic Ephrata Cloister at (717) 733-6600 or email Michael Showalter at email@example.com.
Registration closes June 9
