Pennsylvania’s Birthday

Each year the PA Trails of History celebrate William Penn’s Charter granting him the colony of Pennsylvania with a free admission day. This year’s date is Sunday, March 10th from 12:00 – 4:00 pm. Our knowledgeable staff and volunteers will be stationed throughout the site to provide you with information about the buildings and the people who once lived and worshipped at Ephrata. The Ephrata Cloister Chorus will perform in the Saal throughout the afternoon.

Ephrata Cloister is one of 26 historic sites and museums on the Pennsylvania Trail of History.

The Ephrata Cloister Associates is a non-profit organization that works in partnership with the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission, supporting the mission of preservation and education at this National Historic Landmark.
