Summer Twilight Hours

Visit the Historic Ephrata Cloister during extended evening hours throughout the summer months and experience this unique National Historic Landmark in a different setting.

On the fourth Thursday of June, July, and August (June 27, July 25, and August 22) the Historic Ephrata Cloister will have extended operating hours, staying open until 8:00 p.m. 

Guided tours featuring the Saron (Sisters’ House) and Saal (Meetinghouse) will be offered throughout the evening with tours at 4:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. The site’s grounds will be open until 8:00 p.m.  Regular admission rates apply.

The site will be open regular hours (9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.) in addition to the extended hours on these dates.
